What’s so amazing about this song is that you can actually hear the pain in eminem’s voice. He puts so much emotion into this song.
First of all, sorry for the terrible quality, but… When I watch that interview from 2006, it just scares me to see how fucked up Em was. Sometimes Fifty literally had to help him out and answer for him. And it’s so fucking scary to realize that Em has lost so many of his memories. He could hide his addiction so well, he was functioning, so people saw that something was wrong with him, but they didn’t quite know what, so they couldn’t help him. And I’m so fucking happy he made it. It was a serious life threat, and he could beat it. Not many people can make it. And I’m so proud of him, he’s one of the strongest people I know (◡‿◡✿)

“’Without pain, how could we know joy?’ This is an old argument in the field of thinking about suffering and its stupidity and lack of sophistication could be plumbed for centuries, but suffice it to say that the existence of broccoli does not, in any way, affect the taste of chocolate.”
Last year, 22-time Emmy award-winning reporter John Stofflet posted this news video he created for KING-TV in 2004, featuring Paul Smith and his artistic talents.
